Petanque
This strategic ball game originated in France.
Players throw balls at a target ball, called a "jack," competing to land their balls closest to the jack. Try to predict where your opponent will play next, and toss balls accordingly!

Controls
Petanque is played 2-on-2 according to the "Doubles" rules.
Use additional Wii RemoteTMs to play with or against other players.

Press the +Control Pad left/right to set the direction the ball will be thrown.

Hold down the B Button and swing the Wii RemoteTM to throw the ball.
The distance the ball travels depends on the strength of the swing.

In addition to standing throws (porte), you can press the +Control Pad down to throw the ball while crouching (demi porte).
